Is media everything?

In the digital era, every young person uses social networks and virtual communication more and more. These platforms can be used in good, practical ways and certainly not so mindful as well. The exchange aims to inspire and equip young people about the opportunities and different ways to use social media platforms and online tools to speak about social and global challenges such as democracy and equality, climate change and emotional well-being. Participants will share knowledge about media literacy and tricks for social media use. As a result of the project, young people from Europe will be familiar with the multilateral media world by creating content – video, audio, photo, posters and presentations – which will be collected and displayed in the local community. Throughout the week, by gaining real-life experience in communication, participants will creatively express themselves, form new friendships and strengthen the spirit of the team.

Project participants form Latvia, Albania, Ukraine, Italy and Bulgaria - 5 group leaders and 35 participants in age from 17-23 years.

Activities took place in Endzele, Jeru parish, Vamieras regional municipality from 23.08.2022-29.08.2022
